Mr. B’s Classic June 27, 2010

We started out by meeting in the Walmart parking lot in Avon park and proceeded to caravan to a mystery lake. I can’t even remember the lake because it was too shallow to launch. Anyhow it was decided to go to Lake Arbuckle.

After the launch I went to an old spot on the lake and Anna and I had 2 decent fish by 7:30 am. Unfortunately we runned and gunned the rest of the day and only came up with 6 more shorts.

Congrats to Jeff Columbus for taking 1st plave, and Jamie for taking 2nd as well as Ronnie for 3rd. Coincidently the top 3 finishers finished the same way for the angler of the year awards. Congrats to all.

September brings in a new season and if you live close by I recommend fishing the tournament. Tom and Penny Crawford strive to make everything fair and use common sense for tournament selection. If you get a chance, give ‘em a visit, buy some tackle and tell ‘em hi from Paul Bruessow.  Until next time, Tight Lines
